"The beginning of anxiety is the end of faith. The beginning of faith is the end of anxiety. All our fret and worry are caused by calculating without God" George Mueller
Yikes! How convicting is that? I also heard this quote at our women's meeting last week. The main theme was trusting in God. I think my whole life I have struggled with worry. May God change me so one day, they could say of me:
"Strength and dignity are her clothing, and she smiles at the future" Proverbs 31:25!

That's my theme right now. What a timely reminder as I prepare for my husband to get home from work. Heart check!
Thanks Tina
I think it makes people feel closer to you when they can read your thoughts and what's been on your mind lately. I'll try to check your blog often! Love, Jan
p.s. I tried to leave a comment with "jan said...." but I guess it won't let me change my profile from when I was responding to Jennifer's blog, with "mom said". so 'mom' = jan bristow! I am not too good with all this techie stuff!
You're the best!
Tina, I could have used this comment last week. I had my annual heart cath (angiogram) last week and I often myself worrying about the procedure. I don't worry about the results as I have found that I have to trust God for the results. There is very little I can do to help avoid rejection other than take my pills ritually. I believe that God tells us not to worry and not to fear for a reason, yet I have been unable to kick the habit of fear. There must be someway to completely trust God to the point of not fearing. I remember that I can do all things when I am in God's hand and that my salvation will not be taken from me. I also know that I may lose my life but then I should gain Christ. Yet, I still fear the pain and uneasiness of going through physical trials. The quote by George Mueller is very thought provoking and helps me to walk along the road toward less fear and more trust. Thank you Tina. p.s. my results were great, no rejection, no clogged arteries, no change in medication. Praise the Lord who gives only good gifts, even if they are trials.
